Privacy

Our network software collects nothing about you. That is a design constraint we build to, not a promise we manage.

This page covers the network tools described on this site. It is written to be checkable: everything below is a statement about what the software does, and the software is published as source, so you do not have to take our word for any of it.

What we do not do

No account

There is nothing to register. We do not hold an identifier for you, because we do not hold anything for you.

No analytics

No usage analytics, no crash reporting, no remote logging, no attribution or advertising identifier, no third-party SDK that does any of those on our behalf.

No traffic through us

Your traffic goes between your device and the servers you configure. We operate nothing in that path and could not observe it if we wanted to.

No configuration upload

Server addresses, credentials, subscription URLs, rules, and connection history stay on your device and on machines you control.

What stays on your device

Settings, saved servers and subscriptions, policy choices, and recent connection records are stored locally. Credentials go to the platform keychain rather than into ordinary settings storage. Uninstalling the app removes them.

Diagnostics are produced locally from an allow-list, so a diagnostic report contains the fields we chose to include rather than whatever happened to be in memory. Nothing is transmitted unless you choose to share the file yourself.

The one thing that does leave

If you buy a paid tier, that purchase is handled by Apple or Google under their terms, and they tell us whether a purchase is valid. We receive that answer and nothing else — no name, no email, no payment details. We never see your card, and there is no separate account to attach the purchase to.

If you activate a paid feature on a gateway you run yourself, the activation is verified once and produces a licence file that lives on your machine. That check receives no traffic, configuration, server, or usage data, and it cannot reach your gateway.

Permissions the app asks for

A VPN configuration permission, because routing your traffic is what the app does. It is used to run the tunnel you turned on, and for nothing else. Where the app asks for anything further — a camera to read a pairing code, for example — it explains why before the system prompt appears, and declining leaves a working manual path.

Children

These are network administration tools and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, which includes children.

Changes, and how to reach us

If this policy ever changes in a way that affects what the software does, the change ships with a release and is described in that release's notes. Questions and privacy requests: info@unitekno.cn.

Because we hold no personal data, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will look and tell you either way.
